Send a Cow is a grassroots livelihood development non-governmental organisation which, was founded in I986 as o response lo combating poverty and malnutrition in Uganda. The organisation operates on the principle of organised community groups while promoting the ‘Passing on Gifts’ model. Using the extension service delivery model knowledge and skills in agronomy, Gender and social inclusion, business and youth skilling are passed on to vulnerable communities. Send d Cow designs development solutions with, and tor the communities lo gel back the skills and confidence they need from the resources around them such as land. Currently works in the North, Central, Eastern and western ports oi Uganda targeting vulnerable households, refugee populations and their host communities, youth and smallholder farmers.
With funding from UK-AID, Send a Cow Uganda (SACU) is seeking qualified candidates to fill the following position which will be based at its head office in Kampala.
Position: Project Finance Officer
Working hours: - 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day for five days.
Employment terms: - Fixed term — 3 years’ contract renewable. .
