JOB TITLE: Sales Medical Representatives
REPORTING TO: Marketing Manager.
GROSS SALARY: Between UGX 30,000,000 to 36,000,000 P.A
HOURS: 8am to 5pm Mondays to Friday and
9.00am to 2pm on Saturdays.

Kimsy Meds ltd is a healthcare product and services provider that was started in 2005 and it has grown rapidly into a reputable and trusted pharmaceutical importer and distributor of Pharmaceutical &Medical Supplies with core areas being Oncology, Cardiovascular, a Diabetes, Ophthalmology and intensive care medicines.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Sales Medical Representative directly represents Mylan one of our esteemed suppliers through Kimsy Meds ltd to Prospects and Customers. He/ She will actively contribute to the broad marketing strategy across the country.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES.

• Identify Sales and marketing opportunities in the territories assigned to improve sales as per the assigned product portfolio.
  
• Gathering competitor information and conducting market research for comparative analysis.
  
• Assessing the client's needs and providing suitable promoting products to clients for better positioning of the company in the market.
  
• Liaising and persuading targeted doctors to prescribe company products through use of effective selling skills.
  
• Work with the entire sales team as well as the Line managers to set targets, developing strategies for implementation to ensure achievement of the set targets.
  
• Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting, follow-up and feedback purposes.
  
• Making presentations to doctors, nurses, Pharmacists among others through organizing conferences, CME’s among others.
  
• Help in managing of the budget to ensure that funds are utilized as specified.
  
• Playing of the primary role of inventory management for products ensuring no expiries or stock outs.
  
• Monitoring and analyzing of market data and conditions to identify competitive advantage.
  
• Maintaining knowledge of new developments and communicating the same to management including both negative and positive impacts on the company as a whole.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Nursing, and Microbiology.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Applicant should have at least 5 years of experience with a reputable company.

SKILLS. Proficiency skills in Computer Usage, Communication skills both Oral and written and should be in position to work under minimum supervision.
