The international Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) is a Public international Organization governed by an international board of directors with representation from developed and developing nations. The nonprofit centre focuses on increasing and sustaining food and agricultural productivity in developing countries through the development and transfer of effective and environmentally sound crop nutrient technology and agribusiness expertise.

lFDC is recruiting staff tor a current call for proposal for a potential 46 month project, focusing on interventions in the potato value chain in proximity to Mbale and Mt. Elgon.

Chains in East Africa (Uganda)."
Duty Post: Mbale District covering neighboring districts
in the proximity of Mt Elgon.
Grads: IFDC BG-7
Duration: 45 months project expected to start latest
October 2017

IFDC is recruiting a Nutrition and Communication Expert to be based in the Mbale field office and covering Mt Elgon sub region. The person will lead the nutrition component ot the project and be responsible for M&E and communications tasks. The position will focus on technical areas such as early childhood nutrition and promotion and inclusion of enhanced household nutrition and dietary diversity.
