Main Job Responsibilities:
The job holder will be responsible for the following; Following up on the various aspects of Safety Audits and Contracts. Assisting the Health & Safety methods Engineer in updating and developing the Health Safety management System [HSE MS], ensuring that the National and international oil & Gas regulations and best practice is incorporated in the Company’s 'health 8t Safety reference documents. Developing a Health 8t Safety audit check list with rating, organizing audits in the affiliate and issuing action plans. Participating in the selection and evaluation of contractors as per Health & Safety requirements. Follow up and. have discussions with site personnel to ensure their input is included in the Company reference document: ‘Ensuring Compliance to the Company's Health & Safety Guidelines, Policies and Procedures. Actively participating in the development of the Company's Health and Safety Audit plan and issuing of audit reports. Follow-up on audit action plans. and provide regular updates‘ including updating the HSE Committee and HSE Board

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  
• Minimum 2 to 3 years in the upstream with proven background in Safety Engineering for Oil & Gas
  
• ln-depth knowledge of international Health & Safety standards
  
• Clear understanding on Safety Audits and use of Safety Management Systems
