Job details:
The National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda (NUDIPU) is an umbrella organization of persons with disabilities promoting their rights in Uganda. NUDIPU’s vision is Dignity for every person with disability.

NUDIPU seeks to recruit a professional and experienced Consultant, who is available for work from October 10th-30th 2017, to conduct a Midterm review for the Youth project.

The project objective;
Youth with Disabilities participate in Uganda on equal terms as their counterparts and are able to influence on their life conditions through participation in organized communities.

Purpose of the survey is to;

• Assess the progress of the project, the challenges and lessons learnt.
• Assess the efficiency, relevance and sustainability of the project.
• Assess the capacity gaps of Youth with Disabilities inclusion in different activities and programs within their communities for future interventions.
• Make practical recommendations.

Qualifications and experience of the Consultant:

The Consultant should possess the following

• The consultant should be holder of a Master degree in humanities.
• Evidence of 4 years’ experience in conducting evaluation studies and surveys for projects that target the vulnerable populations.
• Good analytical skills.
•  Knowledge and experience in youth related issues.
• Excellent M &E and report writing skills.
