Overview of Educate!
Educate! is a fast-growing non-profit social enterprise, currently operating in Uganda and imminently expanding across East Africa and beyond. We deliver to secondary school youth a skills-based model of education, comprised of leadership and entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and real experience starting an enterprise, and work to incorporate our model into national education systems across Africa. Our Vision for 2024 is to impact 1 million youth annually across 10 countries in Africa.

Educate! presents a job opportunity to Teachers and University graduates who enjoy working with youth. Successful candidates will go through a Youth Entrepreneurship Training (YET) that will certify them as Youth Trainers.
The training is open to only 25 participants in each of these regions; In Southern Uganda both teachers and non-teachers hailing from the districts of lsingiro, Kabale, lbanda, Mitooma, Ntungamo, Bushenyi and Mbarara; In Western Uganda both teachers and non-teachers hailing from the districts of Kyenjonio, Masindi, Hoima, Kabarole and Kasese. In Central Uganda; the training shall be open to candidates that hail from West Nile & Northern Uganda, Eastern Uganda and Central Uganda.
Outstanding participants who successfully complete the training will compete for our future Program Officer Positions at Educate.

For shortlisted candidates interviews shall be conducted in the following areas; tor Central Region the interviews shall be held at Educate!’s National office on Plot 3671 Mbogo Road Kibuli Kampala; for Southern Region the interviews shall be held in Mbarara District and for Western Region the interviews shall be held in Kabarole District.
The dates for the interviews will be communicated in due course. Successful candidates will attend the Youth Entrepreneurship Training for 3 weeks from 12th June to 30th June Z017 from 9am - 5pm Monday -Friday. Candidates selected for the training will be required to pay UGX. 200,000 Uganda shillings (for those who come from the host district) and UGX. 75,000 (for those who do not hail from the host districts) to cover the cost of training resources. Participants will be expected to cover their own accommodation cost. All participants must provide proof of home address through Lc1 letter.
