Biyinzika Poultry international Limited is one of the leading suppliers of Poultry and Poultry feeds in the country. The Company seeks to recruit a competent and motivated individual to till the positions below;

Position: Feed Mill Manager
Location: Katega- Mukono District
Reports to: Supply Chain Director

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate plant activities through planning with section heads to ensure the operations objectives are accomplished as per the schedule work plan.
• Monitor plant performance by ensuring that the overall plant performance and production is as the set standard, quantity and quality.
• Monitor and ensure that all the sections with in the teed mill are performing and producing as per the set plan and standards.
• Ensure effective functioning of all feed mill equipment and machinery through timely identification of problems and resolution.
• Ensure timely and effective supply or distribution of feeds to various BPIL branches or sites.
• Develop and implementation of mechanisms to control and minimize costs.
• Maintain and, monitor records i.e fuel, stock, raw materials, spares, QC & HACC, inventory etc
• Stock/Material management; ensuring continuous monitoring of stock levels, storage of materials and products and requisition of raw materials
• Ensure raw materials are always on hand and follow up timeously on order deliveries
• Ensure production of quality feed and other products produced on site including soya cake and bio diesel products
• Participate in the designing, review and ensuring effective implementation of the plant procedures and controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Feed Mill Technology, Production Engineering or related field or pioven aptitude and natural ability.

Skills and Competencies:

• Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in similar roles in a busy commercial setting
• Knowledge of Feed Mill technology
• Supervision skills
