Kasese Community Health and Education Foundation ( KCHEF ) seeks to recruit a Medical Officer for its medical centre in Kasese Municipality.

Job title: Medical Officer
Location: KCHEF Office (Plot1-5) Stanley Rd, Kasese (U)
Reporting to: Executive Director, KCHEF

Job Summary
The Medical officer will be the head of the medical team and will oversee the planning, monitoring & coordination oi the medical programs and the utilization of medical resources. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the MO will contribute to organizational strategy, operational planning, policy formulation and decision-making, steering the organization to achieve its mission and vision.

Qualification and Experience:
The medical officer should have a bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery from a reputable university and licensed by the relevant authorities in Uganda, with a minimum of two years’ experience after internship.

Other desired quality:
Good communication skills, Good understanding of Ministry of Health standards and practices, integrity and ability to work under minimal supervision.

Familiarity of kikonzo, runyakitara and Swahili is an added advantage.
