Job details:
Iles de Paix was founded 50 years ago by Dominique Pire (Nobel peace prize). The association facilitates rural development through the promotion of sustainable family farming.

Main responsibilities

• Support of the country director to oversee the technical aspects of current and future programs
• Support to partners in mastering all aspects of agricultural production techniques and designing a methodological framework for action research
• With the support of the country director or at his request, representation of IDP

Your profile

• University-level degree in direct relation with agriculture. Post-graduate or master's degree in relevant field will be an added advantage
•  Three-year experience (minimum) in development projects promoting sustainable agriculture
• Experience in supporting peasant innovation processes
•  Personal interest in the agro-ecological approach
• Good knowledge of common computer software (Word, Excel).
