Job details:
Intrahealth International (www.intrahealth.org) is currently seeking candidates for a new USAID Activity. USAID Regional Health integration to Enhance Services in Eastern Uganda (RHITES-E) will support the Government of Uganda (GOU) and key stakeholders to increase availability and utilization of high quality health services in 21 districts in Eastern Uganda and 2 in Karamoja. This will be done by strengthening health systems and improving the quality of, access to, and demand for health services with attention to equity and underserved populations.

Post: Driver (1) Moroto & 3 Mbale

Reporting to the Logistic Officer, the Driver will oversee the provision of reliable, secure driving services and proper use and maintenance of office vehicles

Requirement: A level (UACE) or equivalent field. A certificate in motor vehicle mechanics, Computer literate especially in Ms Word and Excel and use of internet. At least 5 years working experience in similar field preferably with an international NGO, Must possess a valid Ugandan Driving License, at least DL, coupled with a clean driving record, Training in defensive driving an added advantage. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with prioritization and able to drive long distance aid for long hours.

Local candidates strongly preferred. The post holder is subject to approval of USAID
