Engender Health is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates for the following full-time staff positions for an anticipated five- year USAID project named, Expanding and Strengthening Family Planning Service Options in Uganda. The following project staff will be based in Kampala providing technical assistance to the Government of Uganda (GOU), civil societies, community—based organizations and the private sector at the community, facility, district, and national levels. The goal of the project is to increase use of equitable, quality and sustainable family planning (FP) services through increased FP service delivery options and demand for modern contraception including long-acting reversible contraception (LARCs) and permanent methods (PMs). Cross cutting themes include gender programing and youth sexual reproductive health (SRH) services. Fluency in written and spoken English is required for all the following position

The Director, FP Service Delivery will manage a collaborative process of design, implementation, and monitoring the innovative, evidence-based FP program especially in support-of LARC/PM programming. Master's degree in public health with a minimum of eight years of experience directing FP/RH service delivery and/or technical assistance programs, with demonstrated supervisory experience. Experience with one or more of the technical areas found in the project is desired, including: family planning service delivery; health systems capacity building; development, monitoring and evaluating quality improvement approaches for SRH; designing and implementing facility and community-based FP services; and/or integration of gender into health projects and services.
