Chemonics seeks a Monitoring & Evaluation Director, for the Anticipated USAID Uganda Health Systems Strengthening activity (UHSS) based in Kampala, the health system through improving leadership and accountability for results in public and private health sectors at both national and local levels. The activity seeks to strengthen central -level stewardship and district level management of the health system; support initiatives that increase domestic financing for health; identify and implement interventions that increase efficient use of key health resources; and strengthen state and non-state community systems for improved quality health services.
The M&E Director will report to the COP and oversee the design and implementation of PMP and M&E system, including data collection, results reporting, and learning activities. S/ he will develop mechanisms for» collaborating, learning, and adapting in activity implementation, to actively incorporate lessons and modify approaches as needed. Builds capacity of staff and partners in data collection and data quality assurance methods; works with Ugandan grantee partners to increase capacity to provide quality, timely-data.
