Straight Talk Foundation (STF) is a National Non Governmental Organisation that was founded in 1993. It is the leading provider of various social and behavior change communication programs in Uganda. Straight Talk Foundation is seeking to fill the following positions:
Head of Finance & Administration (Kampala)
Reports to Executive Director

JOB PURPOSE:
The Head of Finance & Administration shares in the overall responsibility of providing direction to coordination of STF Finance and Administration department. The position holder is responsible for providing oversight to fiscal management, HR & administration, risk management, financial and grant reporting.

Experience, Education and Qualifications:

•  A minimum of 10 years experience in Finance and/ or Audit (4 years at a senior management level).
  
•  Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or other related field, CPA or ACCA, and a Masters degree in business management or other relatedfield.
  
•  Excellent understanding of business and financial planning including strategic modeling.
  
•  Excellent analytical skills
  
•  Experience ofbudgeting and budget management.  Excellent understanding offinancial systems and procedures.
  
• Excellent experience of accounts packages like Navision and MS Office applications.
  
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload and to work to tight deadlines.
  
•  A full appreciation of the value of co-operation, both at the organizational level and within a team environment.
