JOB DETAILS:
Head of Strategy and Business Development
Our client Movit Products Ltd a manufacturer and distributor of quality body and hair care products is currently implementing an organisation transformation strategy and would like to fill key leadership positions.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Head of Strategy and Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities. .

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate and contribute to development of the company's strategy and annual work plans.
• Develop business development strategies through market assessment, analysis of industry trends and business plans.
• Plan, coordinate and documents the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
• Develop business cases for opportunities and conduct research and analysis to vet and validate the business cases.
• Map the market landscape and lay the groundwork for acquisition, licensing and collaboration strategies for the company.
• Monitor company and market performance to determine the viability of its strategies. Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
• Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new customers with company strategies and operations while examining risks and opportunities.
• Develop and build strategic partnerships with major stakeholders.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition and conduct research to support business intelligence and to identify root cause(s).

Person specifications
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Development, Finance or Economics, Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Professional qualification in Business Analytical Tools will be an added advantage.
• Eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in Business Development.
• Exposure to project management tools and techniques would be an added advantage.
• Exposure to business analytics tools and techniques.
