Strengthening Education Systems for Improved Learning (SESIL) managed by Mott MacDonald's Cambridge Education is seeking an experienced School Performance Improvement Team Leader to head the programme's Performance Improvement Team.
This is an opportunity to bring your fresh thinking into sustainable system strengthening approaches to raise school performance in Uganda. Working closely with national, district and school level stakeholders, you will develop, trial and implement interventions of the highest technical standards to raise the quality of teaching in primary schools to improve learning outcomes
You will have experience of managing a team to deliver results, a proven track record in initiatives which improve teacher effectiveness and Teacher development experience in one or more of the following: gender, community engagement or school readiness
