Malaria Consortium received funding from UKAID (DFID) to implement the Strengthening Uganda's Response to Malaria (SURMa) programme in "I6 districts in (Apac, Oyam, Kole, Kitgum, Gulu, Agago, Nwoya, Lamwo, Pader, Amuru, Omoro; Otuke, Alebtong, Dokolo, Amolatar and Kaberamaido). The project which will be implemented over five years from 2018 to 2022 using a mix of interventions at community, health facility and district level to tackle malaria and strengthen health systems.
Malaria Consortium is one of the world’s leading non-profit organizations specializing in the comprehensive prevention, control and treatment of malaria and other communicable diseases among vulnerable and under privileged populations.
We increasingly find our work on malaria can be effectively integrated with other similar public health interventions for greater impact and therefore expanded our remit to include child health and neglected tropical disease interventions
Malaria Consortitum seeks to recruit a qualified individual to fill the position of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for the SURMa project.
This officer will be based in the Gulu Field office.
