Saferworld is an independent international organisation that works to prevent and reduce violent conflict and promote co-operative approaches to security, Established in 1989, we work with civil society, international organisations and governments to encourage and support effective policies and practices through advocacy, research and policy development and through supporting the actions of others. Our ultimate focus is to reduce the impact of conflict and insecurity on the poorest and most vulnerable in society.

We work directly on on in 17 countries and territories including in East Africa, Europe and Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and South and South East Asia. Saterworld has been working in Africa since 1997, having well-established programmes in Kenya, Uganda, Somalia, Sudan and South Sudan

Saferworld has been working on conflict and security issues related to Sudan since 2008. Since 2012, Saterworld has been supporting local and national efforts towards conflict transformation, working with civil society organisations to build their capacity to engage in peacebuilding and governance reform; as well as undertaking policy arialysis, advocacy and research. We are seeking a Partnerships and Compliance Manager who, in coordination with the Country Manager, will provide leadership to project staff who will do the day to day liaison with partners and implementation of projects. The Partnerships and Compliance Manager will ensure strong systems for project management and MEL are in place, and support the project staff to lead in implementation

We are looking for someone who, through strong communication and coordination, can support the effective implementation of Sudan's grants in accordance with contractual obligations, by managing donor reporting and compliance through developing and updating processes and workflows to ensure high quality financial and narrative reporting.
