Finn Church Aid (FCA) is the largest Finnish international aid organization. We operate in 14 countries, where the needs are most dire. FCA has received funds from UNHCR and ECHO to implement projects in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement. FCA is now looking for competent persons to fill vacant position below.

Duty Station: Kyaka II Refugee Settlement
Reports to: Area Manager
Primary Purpose
Under the guidance of the Area Manager, effectively manage the school
Main Tasks and Duties
• Promote quality improvement in education service deliver
• Approve instructors’ training work plans for trainings at the centre.
• Do the registration of trainees for the D.I.T assessments.
• Guide and counsel trainees in matters concerning trainings and also do the referrals if a need be.
• Coordinate BTVET centre with the F.C.A Kyaka II field office.
• Supervise day to day activities at the centre.
• Participate and do the recruitments of the BTVET staff.
• Train and give guidance to all staff at the centre (do capacity building to BTVET staff).
• Make sure that all requisitions for materials are made in time, checked, approved and sent to Project Officer.
• Make weekly and monthly reports to the area manager.
• Plan for all Monday planning meetings and make sure that action points are put into action.
• Approve all the training schedules/activities at the centre.
• Make sure that trainees are linked to job opportunities after the training (linking learning to earning of youth).
• Provide support for the encouragement of good practice in the education service delivery system;
• Establish and sustain working linkages with the relevant partners and potential employers to the Youth being trained
• Monitor and evaluate curriculum implementation, use of instructional materials assessment tools and systems in the VTC and recommend areas of improvement in education training; Qualifications and Working experience
• Bachelors degree in Education or Bachelor’s degree with a Post graduate Diploma in Education;
• At least six years working experience
