JOB DETAILS:
The National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda (NUDIPU) is an umbrella organization promoting the rights of Persons with disabilities in Uganda with the vision of having "A Just and Fair Society where Persons with Disabilities live a Prosperous and Dignified Life". We exist to advocate for the rights of Persons with Disabilities in a unified voice for improved livelihoods. NUDIPU is hereby seeking to recruit a competent and energetic Ugandans.

Job Responsibilities:
• Participate in defining programme and financial objectives, targets and monitoring processes in line with the programme and organizational M&E framework.
• Participate in the development of projects and programmes and review meetings as appropriate including initiating of new concepts/ideas.
• Participate in the review of the plans and programmes to ensure relevance in the rapidly changing environment.
• Participatory in defining programme and financial objectives, targets and monitoring processes (collect, collate and share relevant project information) in line with the programme and organisational M & E frame work.
• Supervise day to day Programme operations such as Mobilisation of beneficiaries of ISAVE into savings and credit groups, capacity building of groups for self-sustenance and linkages to other service providers.
• Execute capacity building activities for members and other partners in the areas of livelihood.

Job Qualifications:
• Minimum of Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, and Social Sciences or in any related field.
• 4 years training in Project Management and Planning is desirable.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in working in livelihood programmes.
• Experience of working with local communities and persons with disabilities is essential
• Strong experience in leading and managing projects.
