  Position Title: Student Wellbeing Co-ordinator
Department: Cotton On Foundation Uganda
Location: Lwengo, Rakai and Masaka districts
Reports to: Student Wellbeing Manager
Dependent on successfully meeting 6 months' probation period The Cotton On Foundation (COF) is an International Development Organization that is passionately driven by our team to create sustainable change by empowering youth through quality education The organization started operations in Uganda in 2007 and currently operates in Southern Uganda in the districts of Rakai, Kyotera, Lwengo, and Masaka. Its projects address the root causes of problems that prevent children and young people from getting a quality education. Our model is based on four pillars: Inspiring Schools, Education, Pathways and Community Engagement. COF projects contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Goal 4 in particular. Student Teacher interactions must be at the heart of this powerful initiative Students must be increasingly empowered: allowing COF schools to be true groundbreakers in progressive and enriching education in Uganda Reporting to the Student Wellbeing Manager, the SWC will fulfill an agreed obligation to school visitations, presenting equal opportunity to all COFU schools.

Job Responsibilities:
Benchmark Measure
Meeting and Reporting
• Weekly progress reports and plan activities.
• Termly reports of all activities presented to the Student Wellbeing
• Manager Fortnightly planning meeting with the Education Program Manager
• Actions and deadlines established Focus Areas:
• Establishment and activeness of Student Representation bodies/
• clubs in all schools
• Good School Toolkit activity support across all schools
• Monitoring and reporting on all Teacher/Student relationships, including all elements of Pupil Management Establishment of students' database for tracking purposes in all school’s class by class.
• Monitoring processes for entrance to all schools and Kindergartens, with a view to ensuring just practice Organizing interschool educational competition in all COFU supported schools among students.
• Monitor and support all assessment processes, including testing regimes and progress charts (e.g. EGRA) and Classroom Based Assessment (NCDC Project) (Coordinators)
• Drive and support child protection policy rollout in all COF supported schools including follow-up on identified cases to ensure all stakeholders are focused on supporting the affected individual and strengthening supports to reduce incidents in the future WASH Program rollout across all of supported schools Inclusive, meetings, workshops, promotional materials and participation in
• WASH days

Job Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of community development programming in the rural areas of Uganda Good interpersonal skills, high level of integrity and good moral conduct
• Good conceptual and analytical skills Self-directed and capable of working with minimum supervision Ability to work within tight deadlines for proposal development reporting Strong commitment to Cotton On Foundation's cause and values
• An open personality and acceptance of all races, creeds and cultures

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree qualification in Education & Social Work
• At least two years' experience working in a teaching or NGO environment.
• Highly computer literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Software specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of child protection laws in Uganda and international standards. Police Clearance (No criminal record or child abuse allegations).
Proven experience of

✓ Students mentorship programs
✓ Detailed and accurate reporting of performance and achievement
✓ Designing and implementing programs and schedules
✓ Strong organization and time management
✓ Diverse knowledge in education programming
✓ Excellent written English and computer skills
✓ Dealings with high profile personnel
