REQUEST FOR BIDS - NON-CONSULTING SERVICES IRRIGATION FOR CLIMATE RESILIENCE PROJECT (ICRP) PROJECT ID: P163836

NON-CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SUPPORTING COMMUNITIES TO IMPLEMENT PRIORITY CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT MEASURES IN: LOT 1: KYABAGANDA, KYEZO, MISHUMBA MICRO-CATCHMENTS AROUND KABUYANDA IRRIGATION SCHEME AND LOT 2: KAZINGA- KIRURUMA, LOWER MITANO, RUSHAYA MICRO-CATCHMENTS AROUND MATANDA/ENENGO IRRIGATION SCHEME
The Republic of Uganda has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of the Irrigation for Climate Resilience Project (ICRP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Non-Consultancy Services For Supporting Communities to Implement Priority Catchment Management Measures in: Lot 1: Kyabaganda, Kyezo, Mishumba Micro-Catchments around Kabuyanda Irrigation Scheme and Lot 2: Kazinga-Kiruruma, Lower Mitano, Rushaya Micro- Catchments Around Matanda/Enengo Irrigation Scheme.
The Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Non- Consultancy Services for Supporting Communities to Implement Priority Catchment Management Measures in: Lot 1: Kyabaganda, Kyezo, Mishumba Micro-Catchments around Kabuyanda Irrigation Scheme and Lot 2: Kazinga-Kiruruma, Lower Mitano, Rushaya Micro-Catchments Around Matanda/Enengo Irrigation Scheme.
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the "World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from The Head, Procurement and Disposal Unit, e-mail: kateregga9@gmail.com and iseganyi1988@gmail.com; from 9:00am to 5:00pm on official working days at the address below.
The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000
(Uganda shillings: One Hundred Thousand Only) or the equivalent in a freely convertible currency prior to submission date. The method of payment will be by Bank payment Advice Form obtained from Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) website using "other NTR" as a tax head in the form. The hard copy of the bidding documents in English will be available for pick up at the address mentioned in (9) and the soft copy can be accessed at https://www.mwe.go.ug/library/tendersprocurement
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 27th November, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 11:10a.m.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of UGX 61,000,000 (Uganda shillings: Sixty-One Million Only) or the equivalent in freely convertible currency for each Lot.
A pre-bid meeting will take place at the following date, time and place: Date: Thursday, 26th October, 2023
