JOB DETAILS:
Brand and Marketing Supervisor
The job holder will report to the Manager Marketing Communications & PR and will be stationed at Head Office.

Role of the job
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing, communication and public relations plans for the Bank in line with the Bank’s Objectives.

Key Result Areas
• Implement marketing plans for the Bank in line with the Bank’s Objectives.
• Distribute and monitor the distribution of the advertising & promotional items/ programs of the bank in line with the bank’s objectives.
• Monitor the design, update the Bank’s products and services on the website in liaison with the IT Department according to the Bank’s products, specifications Business plan & policies, and notify supervisor of any changes.
• Participate in sensitizing staff on new and existing products & services in line with the marketing program.
• Ensure brand protection in the media space and ensure a favorable rating of the bank in the media.
• Monitor regularly the media space including social media and other electronic and print media and ensure positive presence and value for money
• Proper management of stakeholders and partners
• Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum qualification requirements, skills and competencies:
• A Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Communication field.
• Post graduate qualification majoring in marketing will be an added advantage
• 5 years’ experience in marketing and communication obtained in the financial sector.3 years working experience in Brand management
• Excellent self-presentation skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Leadership and management skills.
• Ability to develop the strategy and activity work plans for the unit.
• Have the ability to establish and maintain good relationships with key industry players.
• Bring assignments to a conclusion and within set deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of the Commercial Banking business environment.
• Good personal presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
• Possess self-drive and be a self-starter.
• Creative and adaptable to change.
• Ability to work independently as well as in team.
• Ability to conceptualize issues
• Flexibility and willingness to travel upcountry.
