JOB DETAILS:
The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority is established under the PPDA Act 2003 to regulate procurement and disposal practices in all government procuring and disposing entities.
The Authority is seeking to recruit a qualified, competent and highly motivated Ugandan to fill the following position.
Job Title: DIRECTOR STRATEGY (1 VACANCY)
Reports to: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Directorate: STRATEGY

KEY RESULT AREAS
• Drive strategy development of the Authority and ensure its implementation.
• Oversee the preparation of the Authority’s Budgets and annual work plans.
• Mobilise funding for the Authority.
• Drive and oversee stakeholders engagement.
• Prepare and disseminate statutory and other reports.
• Oversee and drive the development and Implementation of the IT Strategy.
• Monitor and evaluate annual work plans.
• Responsible for the research function at the Authority

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Administration, Engineering, Quantitative Economics , Statistics, Law or any related field
• Master’s degree in the above or related field.
• A Postgraduate Qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation.
• Postgraduate qualification in strategic planning is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE
• Ten years working experience of which four must be in a similar role;
• Seven years experience in strategic planning and/ or monitoring and evaluation;
• Four years experience in the Government planning, budgeting and public financial management framework;
• Demonstrable experience in developing funding proposals;
• Demonstrable experience in Strategic Planning;
• Demonstrable experience in Monitoring and Evaluation;
• Demonstrable experience in conducting research; and
• Demonstrable experience in inter agency coordination
