JOB DETAILS:
Kakira Sugar Limited is a leading sugar manufacturer in Uganda. KSL boasts of 2 (two) sugar estate, one in Kakira- Jinja and the other in Kayunga. We seek to recruit dynamic, experienced and competent candidates to fill various vacant position in the company.
Job Title: Security Officer- Kayunga Sugar Project
Job Ref: 2020.02.06/OG-M-KSP-05
Reports to: The Estate Manager — Kayunga Sugar Project .

Will be responsible for:
• Developing a security set-up that will provide security to the Estate. installations and facilities.
• Supervising. enforcing. maintaining discipline and evaluating performance of the crop protectors and ISS personnel deployed under you.
• Monitoring and attending to all road accidents involving company employees, vehicles and taking appropriate action to protect lives and property at the accident scenes.
• Maintaining routine close contact with the local leaders, courts of law, police and other Security agencies in view of enhancing security on the estate.
• Attending to all fire related issues within the estate.
• Supervising and providing security to all salary incentive pay points.
• Compiling relevant reports of security interest and promptly submitting them to management for action.
• Adhering to and enforcing the Safety, Health and Environment policy of the company.

Qualification: Applicants should be holders of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE). Those who served either in Uganda Police or Uganda Prisons services with a proven discharge record or served in any Private Security Agency at a senior level have an added advantage.

Experience: Applicants should have relevant experience in security matters.
