JOB DETAILS:
Kakira Sugar Limited is a leading sugar manufacturer in Uganda. KSL boasts of two (2) sugar estates, one in Kakira — Jinja and the other in Kayunga. We seek to recruit dynamic, competent and experienced candidates to fill various vacant position in the company.
Title: Senior Mechanics Car & Lorry Garage

Reporting to Supervisor — Workshop

Will be responsible for:
• Carrying out major overhauling and repairs of engine, automatic transmission, differential, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other related activities of tractors, heavy machines and other related equipments of sugar cane handling and transport.
• Planning and organizing the required material to carry out above jobs
• inspecting, testing and diagnosing and trouble shooting of equipment.
• Enforcing the safety healthy and environment policy of the company to subordinates.

Qualifications
• Must be a holder of Diploma in any of the following: Mechanical, Agricultural, Automotive Engineering or their equivalent obtained from a recognized technical College/University.
• Computer Knowledge is essential.
• Should be able to handle the control module issues using service advisor.

Experience:
• A minimum of at least 6 (six) years related working experience.
• Must be conversant with handling repairs of both petrol and diesel engines.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 72

Level of Education: Associate Degree
