JOB DETAILS:
Senior Technician (Electronics)
Department : Electronic and Computer Engineering
Salary Scale : M10
Responsible to : Head of Department
Responsible for : Technician
Age of Applicant : 28 to 40 years

Purpose of the Job
To provide technical support to teaching and learning, innovation and research,
and community outreach in the School of Engineering and Technology.

Person Specification
• National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering OR
• Telecommunications from a recognised Institution.
• At least 6 (six) years relevant experience in electronics.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Installs, sets up, troubleshoots and maintains equipment and facilities in
• good operating condition.
• Assists in the planning, preparation and running of lab practical sessions
• for students.
• Implements guidelines and regulations to ensure safety in the laboratory.
• Assists in research, innovation, development and consultancy projects.


Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 72

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
