National Animal Genetics Resources Centre and Data Bank, a body corporate under the Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries its mandate is to take a leading role in establishing a comprehensive National Animal Breeding Programme in Uganda, wishes to recruit the following:

Reporting To Technical Manager Production
Overall Job Purpose
To coordinate and guide in the affairs of agricultural infrastructure, machinery and equipment's being utilized at the head quarter and centre farms. .

Specific Responsibilities
• Undertakes planning and reporting for the Estates establishments
• Compiles and maintains lists of assets, machinery, infrastructure and equipment
• Prepares agricultural designs, drawings and specifications for agricultural machinery, infrastructure and machinery.
• Closely monitors the performance of Estates and/center farms.
• Prepares and submits status reports to the Technical Manager Production Develops and maintains lists of machinery, equipment and infrastructure.
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Executive Director& Board.

Basic Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized institution
• Must have a practical understanding of farm infrastructure, machinery and equipment
