Applications are invited from suitably qualified, knowledgeable and skilled Ugandans to fill the vacancies that exist in the Ministry of Works and Transport Force Account project.
Force Account is a support project towards the development and maintenance of the National Road network in Uganda. It is an approach by the Ministry of Works and Transport to ensure cheaper, faster and effective way of developing Road network in Uganda.
Applicants should be willing to work in any part of the country by normal posting instruction.

Scale/Salary: FA 8 Upper
Reports To: Civil/Mechanical Foreman
Minimum Qualifications:
• O-level Certificate
• Possession of valid Diving permit class B, CM, CH, DL and DM
• Possession of a competence test Certificate.
• Practical experience as a Driver of at least 3 years in a reputable Organization is added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drive the vehicle as may be required instructed by the supervisor
• Ensure the safety and security of the vehicle
• Keep the vehicle clean and tidy
• Carries out minor repairs on the vehicle
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
