Uganda National Renewable Energy and Efficiency Alliance ( UNREEEA ) is an apex body of the private sector players in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sub-sectors of Uganda, whose key mandate is to avail a plat form for actors to merge synergies aimed at improving the business environment in the sector. With support from the Gesellschafur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Training and Development Centres of the Bavarian Employers’ Associations (Bfz), UNREEEA is looking for a dynamic and senior member to join its management team as a Communication and Membership Manager.
Job Summary:
The Communication and Membership Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a Membership growth strategy, communication, marketing and retention, keeping abreast of renewable energy developments in the country, regionally and internationally to meet strategic and operational objectives..

Desired Qualification:
The applicant must possess at least a Bachelor’ degree in Mass Communication or a related field with knowledge of communication and marketing principles (a post graduate degree is desirable).

Work Experience:
At least 5 years of professional work experience in communications and marketing or public relations in a membership based organization.
