JOB DETAILS:
Department: Factory - Polypipe
Job Title: Helper
Reports to: Team Leader
Purpose of Position: To assist the operator and the assistant machine
operators during the production process..

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists to Ensure safety standards are adhered to all the time
• Assist to Ensure cleanliness of the work environment
• Assist in carrying out quality inspection of PVC &HDPE pipes that are produced & materials being used
• Assist in carrying out the required machine setting/adjustment in the most efficient way to ensure high quality of the products
• Assist in carrying out machine maintenance(cleaning, Lubrication &machine fittings)
• Ensure correct use & storage of tools &equipments during production
• Assist in ensuring correct colour coding for HDPE pipes & printing of label
• Any other duties that may be signed from time to time

INTERFACES
Team leader; Section Head, Production/Maintenance Engineer, Quality controller &
Operator
SAFETY
• Using protective gears like Hands gloves; Nose Masks; Industrial Boots; Overall; Ear plugs/Ear Muffs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge/Qualifications/Experience
• S.4 certificate
SKILLS
• Ability to learn fast.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
