BRAC promotes financial inclusion by extending financial services to the unserved and under served‘, now with over 218,598 borrowers, over'180Bn loan book with 97% recovery rate, operationally and financially self-sustaining. In order to serve our customers better with a wider range of services and products, Board and Management have future plans of transforming the entity into a regulated financial Institution in Uganda — Tier 2, and thus the need to fill the following position to meet the needs of the transforming entity; -
Job Title: MANAGER LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
Reports to: Head of Human Resource and Training.
Purpose: A training and development manager handles the learning and -professional development of an organizations workforce.Helps with the ongoing, long-term improvement of employees skills, enabling them to fulfill their potential within the organization. Learning and Development Manager should be strategic rather than reactive, assessing the skills and knowledge within an organization and determining what training is needed to grow and retain these skills.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource
• 7 years of progressively responsible experience in specific Human Resource functional area
• Goon organizational Skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
