Media & Publicity Supervisor
Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.
Primary function
• To supervise and review activities of Media and Public Relations.
• To offer administrative support to the Media & Publicity Manager and learn the functional responsibilities.

Responsibilities
• Confer with labor relations managers to develop internal communications that keep employees informed of company activities.
• Design and edit promotional publications, such as brochures, communication tools, products and monitoring systems.
• Assist to develop and maintain the company's corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage.
• Assist to develop, implement, or maintain crisis communication plans.
• Coordinate Public Relations management of both internal and external affairs, Support in making activity plans of public relations, setting up Public Relations Crisis Management Procedures and implementing them after Management approval.
• Ensure the maintenance of good relations with print media, electronic media, network media and television media.
• Undertake research such as external opinions, policies that affect the Company and support in enhancing good relations with key stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain public relations database; select, update related partnership and its management network.
• Review laws, legislations and policies related to the Company.
• Assist in preparing Public Relations annual plans, budgets and implement PR activities.
• Provide support to other departments with transaction of their documents.
• Other assignments from superior.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Public relations, Sociology, International Relations, Administration, Human Recourse Management, English or related major.
• At least 7 years of related working experience.

Knowledge
• Familiar with international relations of politics and economics.
• Familiar with condition of local government.
• Familiar with publication channels of all kinds of media.
• Familiar with sustainable development of environment and society.
• Be aware of related knowledge of oil and gas industry.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese/Mandarin language.
