JOB DETAILS:
FRC is an NGO promoting adult education and community development among refugees since 1997 as an operational partner to OPM and UNHCR.
FRC seeks to employ Ugandans for:

Title: Program Manager
Duty station: Kampala with travel to 10-12 project Locations

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction in implementation, leadership and management to programming,
• Coordinate planning processes, ensure that activities, outputs and impacts are achieved, support active monitoring and evaluation, manage and support team leaders and field teams, establish agreements and protocols with technical partners, facilitate submission of quality project reports and documents.
• Lead and manage staff ensuring clarity over strategy, plans and priorities, create opportunities for learning, ensure compliance with donor regulations and budgets.
• Develop and sustain relationships and communication with stakeholders, identify and engage in relevant coordination mechanisms, communicate and share information.

Academic Qualifications and competencies:

• Masters’ Degree in Project / NGO Management I Development Studies / Adult Education.
• At least 8 year experience, of which 3 on managerial position in NGO setting,
• Proven experience in strategic planning and project management and design.
• Skills and experience in adult education, training and material development is a plus.
