Self Help Africa (SHA) is an International Non-Governmental Organization implementing rural development, sustainable food and livelihood security programmes in nine countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. SHA’s vision is an economically thriving and resilient rural Africa with a mission to support sustainable livelihoods for Uganda’s smallholder farmers. SHA has been working in Uganda for close to 20 years. SHA Uganda is currently implementing a sustainable livelihoods project with South Sudanese refugees and host communities in Adjumani District. The project promotes market access and a range of Climate Smart Agriculture technologies that are intended to support refugee communities to sustainably produce diverse high value nutritious foods in the small plots of land allocated to them in settlement areas. SHA now urgently seeks to fill a position in the project that recently fell vacant..

Under the overall supervision of the Head of Programmes, the Project Manager will provide leadership in the overall planning and implementation of project activities, ensuring effective financial and budgetary control. S/he will take a lead in processes to identify alternative funding opportunities for the continuation of the activities.
Reporting directly to the Head of Programmes, the Project Manager, key responsibility areas include:
• Lead project management and administration;
• Manage partnerships and provide institutional support to clients;
• Oversee project Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) system;
