Vacancy: Senior Assistant Election Officer Grade II/ Cashier

Job Purpose
To effectively and efficiently handle the cash management function in the accounts officee

Duties:
• Working as the Commission's agent in Bank of Uganda responsible for drawing cash
• Making cash payments as approved
• Maintenance of the cash payment register
• Safely filing Used documents and records generated in the cash office
• Maintaining petty cash
• Maintaining an accurate filing system for financial documents e.g. URA and NSSF receipts

Preferred Skills and Personal attributes
• High level of integrity
• Good Communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good Customer care and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of Ms. Office applications (Word and Excel)
• Good Sense of Judgment
Age : 28 years and Above

Minimum Academic Qualifications:
• Uganda Diploma in Business Studies
• Diploma in Accounting and Finance
• Business Administration or any other business related Diploma obtained from a recognized institution
• Partial Qualification in ACCA or CPA is an Added advantage.

Minimum experience
Five (5) year working experience at least three (3) of which should have been in a cash/accounts office in government or a reputable organization
