JOB DETAILS:
AIRD Uganda is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making international NGO. AIRD is currently working in 9 African countries in East, Central and West Africa.

AIRD’s objectives is to offer operational support, including but not limited to; supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WAH in partnership with relief and development organisations which focus on disaster-affected and development oriented areas.

AIRD is seeking for qualified personnel (internal and external) to fill the position to be implemented in 2018:

Job Title : Site Supervisors/ Assistant Engineers
Location: Field settlements
Responsible For: Assisting Civil Engineer in all Site works

Job Summary:
Site supervisors are responsible for the implementation, control and Completion of assigned projects ensuring consistency wit agreed strategy, commitments and goals

Job Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil and Building engineering from a reputable Institution.
  
• Should possess a good r understanding and experience of civil works
  
• At least 2 years working experience in civil works Additional Skills
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  
• Experience in the use of computers and specialized software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.) and other database packages related to construction
