JOB DETAILS:
Department: Transport
Job Title: Truck Driver
Reports To: Transport In Charge .
Responsibilities
• To ensure that daily checks are carried out without fail
• To ensure that logbook is properly maintained
• All defects or accidents should be reported regardless of how minor it may be
• The vehicle should be clean at all times
• Drawing fuel
• Ensure parking tickets are paid in time
• Ensure that service of engine is done on time
• Recording kilometers in the logbook
• Ensure the right goods are delivered to customers
• Participate in the counting of items being loaded on truck/car
Interfaces
• Transport in charge
• Maintenance Manager
• Factory Manager
• Section Heads
Safety
• In case of any defect don’t drive the vehicle
• Ensure to follow proper driving rules and regulations
