Uganda Development Corporation ( UDC ) was setup by the Uganda Development Act 2016 as the investment arm of Government with the primary objective of facilitating industrial and economic development of the country One of the modalities cl meeting the objective is setting up subsidiaries‘ The Government of Uganda received a grant from The Korean Government through Korea international Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to facilitate construction of a Fruit Processing factory. The factory is to be run under UDC as a subsidiary- Soreti Fruits Limited.(SOFTE). The company will produce ready to drink juice and concentrates from Ugandan produced fruits notably Oranges and Mangoes in preparation for factory operations, UDC invites applications from suitable candidates to fill in the vacant position below;

Post: 10 Process Operators
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Duty station: Soroti
Summary: The process Operators will safely and efficiently use manufacturing implements/machines to produce high quality products in time as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Diploma in Food Processing and technology or its equivalent, higher diploma in a relevant field is an added advantage
• 1 year relevant experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Good communication skills including reading skills
• Awareness of factory safety & health regulations
• The ability to do precision work
