Uganda Development Corporation ( UDC ) was setup by the Uganda Development Act 2016 as the investment arm of Government with the primary objective of facilitating industrial and economic development of the country One of the modalities cl meeting the objective is setting up subsidiaries‘ The Government of Uganda received a grant from The Korean Government through Korea international Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to facilitate construction of a Fruit Processing factory. The factory is to be run under UDC as a subsidiary- Soreti Fruits Limited.(SOFTE). The company will produce ready to drink juice and concentrates from Ugandan produced fruits notably Oranges and Mangoes in preparation for factory operations, UDC invites applications from suitable candidates to fill in the vacant position below;

Post: 2 Production Supervisors
Reports to: Assistant Production Manager
Duty station: Soroti
Summary: The Production Supervisor will implement the production operation plan, monitor processing flows and supervise process operators.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology honors degree or its equivalent.
• A relevant post graduate qualifications is an added advantage
• QMS related training and exposure will be an added advantage
• A minimum of 3 (three) years’ experience in a busy beverage or FMCG manufacturing environment with at least two years at supervisory level.
• Highly motivated and ability to perform and deliver under a stressful and target oriented environment
• Result oriented excellent communication skills,
• Skills in conducting safety tests and removing potential hazards
• Good research and analytical skills
•  Awareness of factory safely & health regulations
