Uganda Development Corporation ( UDC ) was setup by the Uganda Development Act 2016 as the investment arm of Government with the primary objective of facilitating industrial and economic development of the country One of the modalities cl meeting the objective is setting up subsidiaries‘ The Government of Uganda received a grant from The Korean Government through Korea international Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to facilitate construction of a Fruit Processing factory. The factory is to be run under UDC as a subsidiary- Soreti Fruits Limited.(SOFTE). The company will produce ready to drink juice and concentrates from Ugandan produced fruits notably Oranges and Mangoes in preparation for factory operations, UDC invites applications from suitable candidates to fill in the vacant position below;

Post: 2 Quality Assurance Assistants
Reports to: Quality Control Officer/ Analyst
Duty station: Soroti
Summary: To ensure that the products manufactured are of good quality and meet the customers expectations with legal compliance at all times

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• A degree in Food Science/ industrial Chemistry/ Microbiology and any other related discipline.
• 2 years of relevant experience in a similar field, FMCG industry is preferred
• Knowledge and experience in Food beverage microbial analysis is desirable
• Knowledge of various laws, regulations, guidelines, procedures affecting a manufacturing organization.
• Knowledge of ISO Standards is desirable
• Awareness of factory safety & health regulations
