Organization Background
Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is a globally recognized organization co-recipient of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize. HI focuses on supporting people with disabilities and other vulnerable populations in humanitarian and development contexts. With over 40 years of experience, HI operates in six thematic areas: Livelihoods, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Physical and Functional Rehabilitation, Inclusive Education, Inclusive Health, and Inclusive Humanitarian Action (IHA).
The CHANCE, Leave No One Behind (LNOB), and INCLUDE projects aim to deliver inclusive and impactful interventions to benefit marginalized and vulnerable groups, including refugees and host communities.

Key Responsibilities
Mission 1: Management
1. Embody HI’s values and act as a role model for the team.
2. Lead operational management by organizing, delegating, and structuring work processes.
3. Act as a coach to support and develop staff, fostering professionalism and adherence to HI’s Code of Conduct.
Mission 2: Strategy and Steering
1. Contribute to the operational strategy of the program or country.
2. Develop new project proposals for continuity and expansion of the projects.
Mission 3: Operational Implementation
• Implementation:
o Steer project strategy and adjust as needed to meet objectives.
o Ensure activities align with project proposals and budgets.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
o Track activity progress indicators and expected outcomes.
o Develop and execute the project evaluation plan.
o Document and share lessons learned.
• Compliance:
o Enforce HI’s policies on safeguarding, child protection, and anti-fraud measures.
o Adhere to global technical standards and donor requirements.
• Team Coordination:
o Facilitate coordination meetings and ensure seamless collaboration between teams.
o Lead the project steering committee.
• Budget Management:
o Oversee expenditure and manage project-specific budget lines.
Mission 4: Emergency Preparedness and Response
1. Prepare the team for emergency situations and lead response actions in humanitarian crises.

Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory Requirements:
• Education:
o Master’s degree in a relevant field.
o Postgraduate diploma in project planning and management.
o Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience:
o At least 5 years of relevant work experience in project management, preferably in joint projects with international partners.
o At least 3 years of professional experience in the fields of education or health within NGOs.
o Practical experience in managing humanitarian or development projects.
Desirable Experience:
• Working in humanitarian and emergency settings.
• Experience with disability-inclusive projects in development or humanitarian contexts.
• Experience working with persons with disabilities.

Skills and Competencies
• Strong skills in planning, monitoring, evaluation, and coordination.
• Expertise in financial and budget management.
• Strong data collection, analysis, and information management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to lead participatory, non-discriminatory, and accountable processes.
• Proficiency in donor reporting and proposal writing.
• Team management and humanitarian monitoring skills.
