JOB DETAILS:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced Channel Sales Manager to work in Uganda.

JOB SUMMARY
The Channel Sales Manager (CSM) will oversee the development and management of relationships with retail and distribution partners to drive the sales of our mobile phones. You will be responsible for implementing and executing channel sales strategies, increasing market share, and achieving sales targets through a strong network of resellers, retailers, and other channel partners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Channel Partner Management:
• New retail and distribution partners to sell our mobile phones.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with channel partners,
• ensuring they are aligned with the company's sales goals.
• Provide regular training, product information, and sales support to ensure partners are equipped to sell our products effectively.
• Monitor channel performance, including sales targets, margins, and market share, and take corrective action as needed to achieve business objectives.
Sales Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement channel sales strategies to increase sales of our mobile phones across various retail and distribution channels.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide partners with the necessary sales tools, promotional materials, and incentives to drive demand.
• Manage the full sales cycle for channel partners, to closing deals, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Conduct regular business reviews and sales meetings with channel partners to discuss performance, market conditions, and growth opportunities.
Sales Enablement & Support:
• Ensure partners have up-to-date product knowledge, competitive pricing information, and promotional strategies to effectively sell our mobile phones.
• Support partners in generating leads, managing customer relationships, and closing sales.
• Work with partners to execute local marketing campaigns, product launches, and in-store promotions to drive foot traffic and sales.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
• Collect and analyze data on sales trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecast updates, and market feedback to senior management.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize channel strategies to ensure maximum sales growth and profitability.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and operations, to ensure the smooth execution of channel sales initiatives.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all channel-related inquiries and escalations.
• Build and maintain a strong network within the mobile phone industry to stay ahead of trends and identify new business opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience (8 - 10 years) in channel sales, ideally in the mobile phone or consumer electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of mobile phone market dynamics and distribution models (e.g., retailers, resellers, online platforms).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with channel partners.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
