INVITATION TO BID UNDER OPEN BIDDING

Construction of a Modern Coffee Green House with Modern Crop Support and Irrigation Systems at National Coffee Research Institute-Kituza

Procurement Reference No: NARO/WRKS/2024-2025/00202

1. The National Agricultural Research Organisation has allocated funds to be used for the Construction of a Modern Coffee Green House with Modern Crop Support and Irrigation Systems at NaCORI.

2. The Entity invites your sealed bids for the provision of the above works.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act 2003 (the Act) and the Regulations made under the Act.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 8(a) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

5. The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000. Payment will be made to Uganda Revenue Authority through a convenient commercial bank by obtaining a Bank Payment Advice Form from the URA website.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 11:00 am on 14th April 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 9,000,000. Bid securities must be valid until 29th September 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the address below at 8(d) at 11:30 am on 14th April 2025.
