JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
The Director of Human Resources will support the University Secretary in the following functions:
- Human resource planning and management
- Implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Management of staff welfare, payroll, and records
- Coordination of staff development programs
- Oversight of HR accountability and compliance
- Organizing and managing staff meetings
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate must have:
- A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
- Registration with a recognized professional HR body in Uganda
- Professional HR certification (added advantage)
- A minimum of five (5) years of senior management experience in a reputable institution
- Strong leadership, planning, communication, and ICT skills
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: postgraduate degree
