JOB DETAILS:

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
Experience: 1 years in the field of materials and mineral testing
• Team management experience in a technical / testing laboratory environment
• Practical knowledge of a laboratory environment (ideally instrumentation, test, calibration)
• Experience of ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems
• Practical understanding of Health and Safety procedures
• Exceptional communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Prepares reagents and standard solutions used for analysis.
2. Carries out Sample preparation and Analysis under supervision of Engineer.
3. Initiates or recommends corrective actions to improve, as may be necessary, the quality
control activities/system.
4. Receives and records sample in the register book.
5. Stores samples at appropriate storage conditions.
6. In charge of housekeeping.
7. In charge of Cleaning of analysis used apparatus and glassware.
8. Ensures adherence to good laboratory practices.
9. Supervises the subordinates and coordinates all activities in the division
10. Any other duties assigned by the supervising officer.
