GrainAid Agency is a Christian Indigenous development and Humanitarian organization that is dedicated to working with communities including children, families and institutions such as schools and health facilities to tackle the root causes of poverty, hunger and malnutrition through direct implementation of development programs, relief and partnerships.
GrainAid is currently operating programs in the regions of west Nile, Northern region, and the Mid-Western region.
The programs focus on three main strategic sectors of Agriculture value chain development and food security, Integrated school and community-based child nutrition and Skills development for sustainable livelihoods and enhanced agriculture industrialization. The overall goal of the program is to contribute to reducing poverty, food insecurity, and stimulating economic growth in alignment with the National Development plan III and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
GrainAid collaborates with government, communities, civil society, supporters, and the private sector to reach the most vulnerable communities, serving all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
