How we do it
For every program, HOLD Uganda conducts baseline survey to gather information as bench mark for measuring project performance. Monthly and quarterly progress data collection tools are developed and administered to collect both qualitative and quantitative data from project beneficiaries. Quarterly project reviews are conducted to assess project progress against quarterly targets and where necessary, action plans are developed and implemented to correct deviations or improve performance.
On a quarterly basis, stories of changes and success stories are documented from beneficiaries and are shared with project stakeholders for learning purposes. On an annual basis, annual project evaluation is conducted to measure project extent towards achieving the desired outcomes and goal. Additionally midterm project evaluation and end line project evaluations are conducted to measure the intended and unintended changes caused by the project among the lives of the beneficiaries.
