Founded in 1969 as Factory Guards Limited, the group has grown from its original Nairobi base and today, is well represented in all sectors of the security market. SGA employs over 17,500 personnel in the region with presence in all major towns in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
The company is a founder member of Kenya Security Industry Association (KSIA) and Tanzania Security Industry Association (TSIA). SGA is also a member of the Uganda Private Security Association (UPSA) as well as the South African Security Association (SASA).
