About the Role:

Backbone Feeds Uganda Limited is seeking two (2) skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representatives to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering excellent service to our clients, resolving concerns, and strengthening customer relationships. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction:
    Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints via phone, email, chat, or in person.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Provide clear, accurate, and updated information about company products and services.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Resolve customer issues efficiently; escalate complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
  • Order Management:
    Handle customer orders, including processing, tracking, and managing order-related issues.
  • Relationship Building:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.
  • Feedback Collection:
    Gather customer feedback and report insights to relevant teams for continuous service improvement.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communication is essential.
  • Customer Focus:
    A strong, customer-first approach with the ability to empathize and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Ability to resolve issues efficiently and think critically under pressure.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Familiarity with company products and services is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in email systems, CRM software, and other customer service tools is required.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    A minimum of a Certificate in a relevant field (Customer Service, Business, Sales, etc.) from a recognized institution.
  • Experience:
    Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is highly preferred.
