Duties and Responsibilities
1. Liaise with the shift Manager to plan, coordinate and supervise the production activities.
2. Carry out inventory control to meet production and quality set standards and targets on a day-to-day basis to ensure maximum output from all equipment under your control
3. Maintain sufficient stock of tools, spares and consumables on a day to day basis to ensure maximum output from all the machines/equipment under your control.
4. Maintain proper stock of packing materials while ensuring that there is no loss of production time for want of any packing materials.
5. Analyze daily production reports to determining efficiency and productivity values associated with the products range under your jurisdiction and minimizing wastages within tolerable/benchmarking levels.
6. Ensuring to liaise with the Quality Assurance Department to ensure yoghurt, in-process materials and finished products are well sampled, tested and found conforming to the required quality standards prior to use release to store.
7. Ensuring that cleaning and sterilization of factory premises, personnel and processing equipment is done as per the required regimen and physical verification of cleanliness is done before production.
8. Implementation of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000:2005 (IMS), GMP and HACCP.
9. Any other duties will be assigned to you from time to time by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience
1. A Diploma in Production Management and Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Food Science Technology recognized Institution. However, a Bachelors Degree in related field will be an added advantage)
2. Good understanding of SAP /ERP operations
